Village friends

this one is light on a blustery day
As the days turn darker the light contrasts so richly with the darkness. That is what I thought when I was with my friend the other evening. Having her as a friend has been such a comfort and a blessing. I count her as one of my dearest and oldest friends. But when that light is shared and shined upon your children as well - it is a manifold blessing. So today I am thankful for long standing friendships that remind me of God's faithfulness. God is good. Carpe diem.
